Easily pleased obviously 
The last 15 minutes were genuinely quite dramatic. Not sure if everything I saw was real but there were quotes attributed to Kadyrov that in 15 mins we’ll know who the real power is, then there were Chinese su 35’s taking off towards Taiwan, then air raid sirens in China, then rumours of us jets being scrambled in Japan then videos of artillery fire and reports of Taiwan firing warning shots. Then Pelosi landed and everyone relaxed. Although who knows if it’s over. There were videos of chinese loading landing crafts with armour this morning.
Now I’m watching a bunch of Russians on social media goading the Chinese, calling them chickens and saying only Russia has the balls to go up against the West.
It’s trash I know, but its been a genuinely dramatic 30mins or so. Better than watching the women’s euro final anyway 
China now apparently going to conduct military exercises in 6 areas around Taiwan from 4th to 6th August
Russia was also carrying out “military exercises” on the border of Ukraine as I recall. 
Yes the Chinese administration are cunts as well.

What I don’t understand is why should there be a price to pay for a Government official visiting another, are these countries so immature and insecure they always have to threaten for something so trivial? Sure there are politics at play here but pay the price, really? Tibet will eventually even though the Chinese are being planted there will at some point resist and what about the Uighers?

Not from the point of China. They see Taiwan as part of their territory and have done since the start of the Communist era.
Pelosi’s visit implicitly says different. It’s a needless provocation and everybody knew the Chinese would be upset by the snub.

Pap just accept what I said, its true and its kept the peace, it was seen as fair when the UN changed its stance, from the point of Taiwan also holds value hence its value for both.

The US/UK has destroyed a vital piece of Germany’s national infrastructure and we just all pretend like absolutely nothing has happened.
The German football team has gone to the world cup literally days after their nations industry and livelihoods have been fucked over by their supposed allies and their priority is to make a protest about middle Eastern human rights and homosexuals?
The true nature of things has suddenly become blatantly obvious and people are just continuing as though there’s nothing to see and everything is fine.
100,000+ dead Ukrainians admitted to, far exceeding any official admissions until now and probably still a massive underestimate, but it changes nothing. Nobody cares, they prefer to laugh at the Russians supposed incompetence in losing three men in a soviet era drone strike. The Ukrainian power system has been decimated, Ukrainians are freezing to death in damp trenches in homes without water but Ukraine is winning.
Evidence mounting that the COVID 19 origin was a lab leak and that senior scientists were flagrantly lying in the early stages of the pandemic and that vaccine issues are greater than initially claimed, but there’s silence.
We’re living through an extraordinary time but most people seem to be oblivious and have no interest in holding our governments to account. It’s really mind blowing.
