Highly amused to see reports of the Gulf royals kicking off about being expected to jump on a bus to go to the funeral, some of them are hanging back before confirming their attendance.
“There is a lot hanging on this” said a Kuwaiti official, “however it’s not off to a good start. If the King came to our neighbourhood, we would not put him on a bus. Expecting firm friends of King Charles to all gather like schoolboys on a bus to go to the funeral is not the start we were expecting. That’s why some of us are staying away”. Hahaha, you can’t help laughing.

I’m surprised they weren’t the first ones that did this.

Absolutely no background traffic or bank holiday strimmer and lawn mower noise. Funny what you notice when it’s not there.

Reminiscent of early Covid lockdown days - without the sunny weather - Shame it can’t be every day

There’s plenty of noise on the Celebrity Silhouette :rage::rage:

After all this time, I’m still surprised when I set out from home at 6am on a bank holiday or Sunday by the sheer amount of traffic on the road. Where the hell are they all going??
