The Classic Car Thread

Going past Broadlands this evening, I’ve never seen one of these before.

Tempest sports car, based on a Reliant Kitten :flushed::smile:

This actual car is on the Tempest register website, near the bottom.

“Tempest” an inappropriate name for a gutless kit car.

Mia fucking ow!!!

I bet you tow a “Swift” Caravan.

I never even saw the band.

Sprite Major or don’t bother

Eventually a picture of @Polski_Filip home

Dad had one. We went as far as Milford on Sea in it.
He eventually upgraded to park it in New Milton - I remember the Pool, before going all in on a small mobile home thingy near Christchurch which I loved - it was on (a) river and I did fishing and loved it

A Kit car brings back happy family memories - damn

I hesitate to mention “the world’s slowest sports car” mate, but I think you’ll know to what I refer. And those are your very own words, verbatim :sunglasses::smile::smile:

You forget my slow sports coupe is now supercharged.

You have put an electric motor in it and installed a quick charging unit at Slowlane Manor?

How dare you…BURN THE WITCH.

I prefer the term “relaxed”.

It will at The Bear & Ragged Staff from 6 this evening for their Classic car meet.
I will be holding court for however long my pint lasts.

I’d have joined you if the MGB wasn’t currently coughing and spluttering like a sixty year old chainsmoker. :rage::rage::cry:

Timing…carb balance?

It’s just back from the mechanic for the second time. The heater valve gasket was spraying water over the distributor cap, but that’s now bone dry. I suspect the distributor might be the cause, now considering an electronic ignition version.

I know you weren’t there in person @scotty but perhaps you were in spirit…

I didn’t much like it as despite getting there before the start time I had to park in the overflow car park and it was a dust bowl…

That GT has almost the same reg number as mine. :hushed::smile::smile:
