I used to be a big boxing fan and can see the allure of it. Iāve worked for Sky Sports for coming up for 10 years. Boxing is a brutal sport. Some guys like Nathan Cleverley, a bright graduate are slurring their speech and have memory problems.

Btw Nathan Cleverly is Welsh so would probably sound like he was sluring his speech if he was a professional golfer.

Best fight of the weekend was Lucas āBig Daddyā Browne vs Ruslan Chagaev in Chechnya. Definitely the strangest sports event I have seen on TV in a long time. The mental looking president (in a hoody) sat ringside on a satan sofa, watching the fight and rubbing his beard while being flanked by two special forces men with machine guns. Well worth a watch if you have boxnation, if not this is best I can do:

Did you see it Gboy? For me this was miles more interesting than the skycard on at the same time. Fair play to Browne, going over there and winning.
I couldnāt focus by that time on Saturday so watched this morning. He did well but I find it very hard to get excited about the HW division at the moment.

Why? I am loving the HW division at the moment. I know there are 400 different belts and every causal thinks the fighter from their country is the HW champ (this is happen when AJ beats Martin), however most people who follow boxing, know Fury is the ārealā champ.
After years of Vlad killing the division with boredom and Floyd doing the same for the midgets, the sport has really opened up. Providing people keep fighting each other, it should be good. Ortiz V AJ or even Browne V Parker would be interesting fights. Better of years of Vlad jab and hugs anyway.
