What a tit. Tyson Fury did him a favour by not taking his fucking head off.

No surprise here then but let’s see what happens if AJ somehow manages to win

He’ll fight again. I can’t imagine his missus is best pleased with her being the reason he’s stopped fighting, especially in the heavyweight crowd he’s in.

There aren’t many people out there that are going to permanently damage him if he keeps adapting the way he does. I think he needs to do the winner of AJ and Usyk and that’ll be it.

I know he says he’s got fuck all left to achieve. He has held every belt at one time or another, but no-one has held all the heavyweight belts in the 21st century. That’s the way to go out, and I don’t see Usyk or Joshua being a problem.

A couple of years ago I would have called you insane for that statement, not now…

Joshua he outsmarts, Usyk he outpowers, and the latter is another small bloke that’ll have to spend half the fight trying to get in on the inside.

Usyk is the harder fight. The man is nails, done it in multiple divisions and has technical skills to burn. He also knows he’s a boxer.

I think AJ is done. I can’t explain it in boxing terms as eloquently as @Tokyo-Saint might, but just watching what he says and does as a man, I’m left with the impression of someone with no direction of his own, especially after the Usyk fight when he seemed to be relying on his corner to tell him how to fight a man.

Give this chap’s channel some love.

(Oo-er missus)

He’s never put up anything I haven’t enjoyed.

Joshua is a spent force, when he gets hit like all of us apart from boxers he looks like he is hurting and didn’t enjoy it, when this happens to fighters they actually (apparently) this is what makes them what they are, they enjoy it and the challenge.
Fury certainly does, he’d outbox Joshua easily and Fury/Usyk would be a closer one too call, its would be Usyk chasing Fury around the ring and Fury using his weight to push down in the clinch to wear down the smaller man but I think quite obviously Usyk would know this tactic so it’s very very interesting fight to see, far more so than Joshua I think.
The heavyweight division isn’t stacked at all and the same faces are still there from 5 years ago, Dubois has a point to prove mind but could he be Joshua mark II.

I reckon he’s going to get mullered. Being trained by two trainers, with no head trainer. Both trainers are primarily used to training small fighters.

AJ needs to be told what to do in fights. I can’t see this going well. Still, he gets the money from DAZN regardless.

Those old timers. Fuck me. Boxing today is nanny state in comparison

Chisora vs Pulev tomorrow.

Gotta love Chisora.

Joe Pigford is fighting on 30th July. I am not sure if he is a Saints fan, but he is a mush. Intriguing unorthodox (in traditional sense) little bugger.

I wonder if we might get a rare comment from Sotonians boxing Godfather @Tokyo-Saint about him.

Just got onto this, this fight was legendary, the damage Willard took in this was unbelievable.
And Del Chisora is a legend, an absolute throwback pure and utter fighter, not money, just for fighting.

Watched Sky’s BOXXER offering last night. Wouldn’t mind going to one of them actually; there is one in Liverpool in early September.

Most of the fights were not of the highest of quality. The main event, Chris Bilham-Smith vs Isaac Chamberlain, went the distance but was never in doubt by the end.

Slightly weirdly, Joe Pigford’s fight was after the main event and was a bit anti-cimactic, but the Southampton mush triumphed and should be going onto bigger things. Twenty wins, nineteen by way of KO, he is to boxing what MLT was to football. Doesn’t seem to do a lot until he does.

Interesting old fight, init. People are already backing Usyk purely over his Ukrainian nationality, yet it’s happening in Saudi, who’ve been bombing unholy fuck out of Yemen for years.

I thought it was because he’s a far better boxer?
