Every fighter says he’s going to win it the way they won it.
And feint is when you pretend to punch, Fury isn’t doing that, he’s twitching and moving consistently to make a fighter confused, its works.
So what does everyone think of the Eddie Hearn’s Back Garden thing?
He’s obviously been studying what ufc has been doing and they’ve run several events now during the plague. I think it’s a good thing but lack of atmosphere obviously lessens it. Still annoys the shit out of me that its PPV.
Got to feel a bit sorry for old Dillian. He’s been constantly denied a title shot and instead of waiting he’s been keeping active and then ‘bang’ this happens.
Possibly, but I have to ask the question, who is he going to beat in that division that will give him a belt? Joshua has already done him. Fury will neutralise him. Wilder would go into that fight knowing tha Povetkin floored him with one punch. A lot of fighters will.
I think the punch from povetkin would’ve stopped most HW’s. I don’t think whyte is anywhere near the best out there but what I admire is that he steps up to fight anyone. He’s a better fighter than when he fought AJ and don’t forget he had him in big trouble early in that fight. Fury would school him no doubt at all and in regards to Wilder he is a devastating puncher that’s for sure but we’ll have to see mentally how much his loss to fury affected him. Wilder technically is poor imo. If whyte can avoid his big punch then I could see him winning that one.
Oof.
Wilder’s entire style can basically be summed up in the 80s computer game Barbarian. Basically, no matter how badly down you are, you’ve always got a chance of a one shot kill.
Thought Bowe lost em when challenged by Lennox??
This thread hasn’t been curated much lately, but it now looks as if Wilder v Fury III is off.
Reading between the lines, looks like that legal agreement for a third fight might have an expiry date of 31st December 2020.
I am not ITK. Just don’t know how else Fury’s camp has swung it.
How hard is it to get the headline to match with the opening blurb?
If something’s postponed, it’s not off, is it? Just delayed.
In other news, did anyone see Deontay chatting cheating with regards to his last bout with Fury?
Yeah, saw that he claimed Fury had put something in his glove, he’s reaching IMHO
I think he has also mentioned blood tampering this week.
Reading between the lines, I reckon his rematch clause has an expiry date and he’s trying to keep the fight on.
