In danger of cheesing the place up, this is one of the best fights ever. How to beat someone bigger, stronger and harder hitting than you? I frigging love boxing. Boxing may have taken over football in the last few years. Both have issues but at least boxing doesnāt have Chelsea and Man Cities - Fighters made by right mentalists.

Lost count of how many times Iāve watched this and other Ali fights. Love the ring girls in this. Even had round 8 sign up sideways. How quick was Ali for a heavyweight? Makes a mockery of the division nowadays.

Yeah those ring girls are amazing. Iām not sure GB, Ali was good but GFās tactics were just terrible. I have never seen a top pro look so absolutely exhausted by the 6th round.

Perhaps your issue is more with Professional Boxing than the sport itself?
After all, I could say that I abhor football because the participants get paid millions to attempt to get their fellow professionals sent-off by feigning injury.
You might point to the game that is played on Hackney Marshes, and tell me that it is the real game.
Likewise, I might point to an inner-city gym and how kids learn respect for rules and try to physically best their opponents - all the while increasing their self-esteem, getting themselves fit, learning how to win graciously and lose gracefully, and all whilst āprotectedā by padded headgear and big gloves.
I do understand the point youāre making, and to a degree I agree, but young kids will take their aggression and lack of self-esteem to the streets if they donāt have an outlet.
Boxing, in its purest form provides that.
Boxing in itās purest form is one guy hitting another guy until he renders his brain is too damaged to take control of his motor functions, an automatic thing. Thatās a scientific fact and the reason the General Medical Council is so against it. You could argue that Rugby Union is heading that way with concussive injuries, but itās not the intention or āwinā to knock the other guy out. Fair enough if you enjoy watching it, and millions do. Just donāt dress it up as a noble sport and a way out for kids if they donāt have an outlet.

Callum smashed him. Have to give him credit, that was massively impressive. Dodd fight was by far the best of the night but smith did impress.

I used to participate Ted but the kids now a day go too hard and for too long. Now I like to just watch like a Saudi prince.

Not that I have had the experience but Boxing seems to do an awful lot more for disadvantaged kids on the streets, Boxing is a lot more than just getting into the ring.
I love Boxing, controlled aggression at its finest.
