The BBC are getting pelters for their biased

or supposed bias on the US election, do you think our greatest media outlet is left leaning or has agendas and lines to follow similar to the great press houses and other lines of media?

For me the BBC has to be centrist but that line must be so so difficult to follow if reporters are in war zones and are giving descriptions on what they are seeing.

Depends upon the story

If they are talking about Trump, then the beeb are regarded as leftist trots

If they are talking about Corbyn, then the beeb are regarded as rabidly right wing

So they are probably in the centre somewhere

Ah so as opposed to a solid state position they are agenda based? For what gain though?

I suspect tht the agendas are projected onto them by the public. That said they do have a hard on for Man Unitied which defies belief.

Anything left of Trump is going to look Trotskist to right wingers even if they are stuck slap bang in the centre. All depends where you’re standing.

And the Liverpool pundit connection, yes indeed.

Clinton getting hammered now on the position of the no fly zone and where it would have ended, how anyone can say she is safer than Trump when all he has used is words when is actively wanted a confrontation with Russia and Syria is beyond me.

Your head must be buzzing right now, Bazza.

I am actually sad its come to this, the elite must go though, out with the old and in with the new, Jezza could be in soon you never know!

If you going to elect a President with no previous experience of public office make them 30 instead of 70. At least they will have a vested interest in the future.

Problem with removing the 'elite and 'establishiment is that the void is filled with the completely fucking insane and downright fucked up…

Futney Cherret is having an after party EU ref/Trump meltdown.

Yeah, that’ll be to do with rational and sensible choices being stitched up. Clinton did it with Sanders. New Labour have tried it with Corbyn. What we end up with is very much a product of establishment self-serving shenanigans.

Why we need a public service broadcaster in 2016 is beyond me. The poll tax that is used to fund it needs to go, it’s a relic from the 50’s

Be careful what you wish for.

I resent having to pay for my own propaganda, but I recognise the effect the BBC has on channels that rely on advertising for their money. It reins them in. Try watching commercially funded TV elsewhere and you’ll get the idea.

The gold standard has been tarnished, but it’s still the gold standard.

I object to the principle that by owning a TV I am subjected to a poll tax that funds the BBC , regardless whether I watch it. I can’t think of any other product that you have to pay for , even if you don’t want it,and are under the threat of prison if you don’t cough up.
