Playmakers are key to success in the modern game.
The majority tend to contribute plenty of goals, but their most valuable asset to the team is creating chances.
Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil laid on 19 assists last term, the highest in the league, and created more than 100 chances as Arsene Wenger’s side finished second in the Premier League.
But who is leading the race so far in terms of chances created?
Click the right arrow, above, to see from least to most chances created in the 2016/17 Premier League season.

West Ham at the Olympic Stadium: How other clubs fared in first season at new ground
Show/hide article…
After calling time on 112 years of history at Upton Park, West Ham United upped sticks to the Olympic Stadium in the summer.
Their first campaign, though, hasn’t quite gone to plan.
Fan unrest has dominated discussions, there is talk of a lack of atmosphere, while the club have been forced to deny they are playing crowd noise over the tannoys
And on the pitch it’s hardly any better as they sit in 18th spot in the Premier League, having won just one game, drawn another and lost five.
But how did other teams fare in their first campaigns after moving to new stadiums?
