The Ashes Down Under - 2017-18

His case has been passed to the CPS. If they decide not to charge him then that’s it done and dusted and he’ll be free to play.

Of course he’s ‘just’ gone to visit family.

Reported this morning as he has “no chance of playing in the ashes” - CPS decision will not be for some weeks (and he might still be charged) :lou_angry:

2nd test starts tomorrow lunchtime here and Moeen looks like he will not be bowling.

:lou_facepalm_2:

It is renowned as a seamers wicket just a shame Wood isn’t ready, I honestly do not see what Jake Ball brings to England, so will be going into a must win test with 3 bowlers.

Great

I’m scared and unhappy.

Come to daddy…man hug. :lou_lol:

Australia are in and 24 - 0 wickets

Rain has stopped play.

Doesn’ read like a good start gave them too many sighters and batting last at Adelaide hasn’ been very successful over the years.

Must have thought they could tear through them but they’e shaved more grass off the pitch for this game.

May be a good weekend to be flying footy & vodka then

Back in play it is now 33 for no wicket after 13.5 overs

Tea is being taken but rain is falling 33-0 after 13.5 overs

Great work by Woakes.

Overton now bowling his first over, very decent.

51-1

So Moeen Ali is bowling then?

123-2 after 44 overs

From those scores it looks like a batting wicket, that means England (and Wales) will be bowled out for about 150 then.
