Think we should go for Russell Martin. He played attractive football at Southampton and if he had a better quality team would have got more wins, also go unlucky with VAR deductions against them. Also no compensation fee, high risk but I think it could come off.

Seems hilarious on the face of it, I agree. But he’s also right that we’ve been fucked out of a shipload of points by VAR, and that better players could fare reasonably well under Martinball.
