The 2017 Election Thread

I thought Corbyn liked everyone? You’ve got me confused now, i thought that it was only Ken Livingstone.

Fingerings ahoy.

[Anyone know how to post a vine?]

Well, it follows the same illogical reasoning, but please don’t confuse my post with my advocacy. I was just highlighting the logic behind some of the “j’accuse” statements from those of a more boisterous left leaning.

the left are such bullies! They are always mouthing off v.angar about tory, and ppl that vote tory, and criticising them + exaggerating bout things. They are always making mean memes and posting them on here. That’s why so many ppl is turning to the right. People don’t like to see Bullying, particularly against Women, and ppl on the right are v.empathy when they see things like that.

Pap has turned Theresa May into a Sympathetic Character.

You used to be able to just post the link but I think Vine pulled the API so @saintbletch can’t do it anymore.

What was the link?? If it was in a tweet use the bluebird thing to post the contents of the tweet, much easier.

Get a token from reception on your way out?

This is the sort of policy Corbyn should be going for in my opinion:

Vote winner

Humanitarian cause, tick

disillusioned ukipper appeal, tick

Bulbous red/black nodule on side of shaft, tick

Permit from reception?

As you enter the car park you could have your retina scanned and then you would need to have them scanned again in the reception of the hospital within 20 mins of entering the car park. Failure to have your eyes scanned would result in your car being removed from the car park. This would probably sort out any car park cheats and only cost a few million pounds.

Downvoted for ignorance.

Anyone can use the car park already.

So we’ve established that The Tory party will be spending more on the NHS this year than they did last year.

your suggestion is way too sensible for the snowflakes in here. Privatisation, they’ll scream. We can’t have more privatisation in “our NHS”, unless it’s GP surgeries or PFI providers, they’re ok, oh & NHS consultants working in the private sector, that’s good private money. Your suggestion is clearly the way to go, but this generation of weak willed politicians haven’t got the balls. They remain wedded to the past a 1950’s health care system for the 21st century . It’s not the “envy of the world” as lefties claim. France, who seem to be reciving praise today for being enlightened & progressive have a mixture of private & public Heath care, you even have to pay to see a doctor there, imagine the meltdown if that was proposed in the U.K.!!!

Until Gordon Brown decimated them we had a fantastic pension system ( of course NHS & public sector workers still do). It was a basic state pension , topped up with a generous private or work pension. I see no reason why health care couldn’t be the same. We need to get away from the binary choice politicians like to frighten us with , NHS or USA, there are dozens and dozens of systems in between that are better than ours.

We have also established that in real terms the NHS is still woefully underfunded and nurses wages are appalling. I seem to remember the MPs voting themslves a healthy pay rise not so long ago though.

As well as the damage being done to the NHS, the Tories have been causing major problems with major cuts in the funding of many other Government agencies. From my own experience in the CPS they, and the police, have been hammered financially over the last few years (bearing in mind they used to be the Party of law and order apparently). I also have a friend who works in local Government whose department has also been decimated by spending cuts. I am sure others on here will have similar tales of woe.

True, however office workers or shoppers don’t tend to use them. If you make them free then you can guarentee that by 08:00 they will be full of office workers’ and shoppers’ cars who won’t mind the extra 10 minute walk to their office/shop.

If they implement this policy then they need to find a way to stop that happening.

Anyway why am I explaining myself, everyone else understood what I meant :lou_facepalm_2:

Can’t believe BTripz is already up to his old tricks again! It was only like last week that SWDP called him out, and BT promised to do better.
