Aye, that’s the problem with the new TV deal, clubs may have shit more moeny but than transfer fees go through the roof! Rather akin to the housing market I guess…

It’s hard to Quantify, but Leicester offering £20m for Troy Fkn Deeney, and Watford saying that’s not enough(!) is strong evidence for the Prosecution.

Not quite sure how I feel about that, right back IIRC which is where we are lacking I guess.
If this means we can direct funds elsewhere… I suppose… that’s… good?
Not sure he’s better than Cuco and unless we stand to gain from his development after the loan period, it seems an odd one.
Can we trigger payment clauses by giving him first team football? 
I am ok with that I like Calum. Any idea if the deal includes a clause for Spurs to buy him at end of loan?

I’d expect that if we’re interested in loaning him, we’ll look to woo him back.
Another grass ain’t always greener scenario, perhaps - we take enough rejects from Chelsea. Maybe it’s time we had one of our own back.
