Overall we do v.good, with the resources we’ve got. Can’t complain much, really. The Championship is littered with clubs, bigger clubs even, who tried a Different System.
The solution as I said is obvious and blunt, money without it we’ll slide as far as the League is concerned, if we can’t buy them how are we supposed to retain them?
A brief passage of time, and yes for our size we do well, its the model and the actual longevity of that model that I question.

tks that is all i wanted, i will forward to Les Reed, he will be So Pumped!
Barry in not understanding FFP shocker. Baz, we can’t just throw money at players because the system is rigged against it.
Also, I’m pretty sure the money from players sales (historically) went towards paying for the massive overspend on Staplewood.
Finally for now, by ‘assured quality’ do you mean ‘experienced pros’ like Steven Davis? Ryan Bertrand (Champions League winner)? Up until recently Fonte?
My take on the centre back issue is they’ve written off Europe via the League so will gamble we have enough to see us through, in the summer they’ll have more of an option.
So much for knowing who they’re buying 2 windows in advance, maybe now we’ll play our strongest team as the FA Cup/Swansea fiasco sure as shit didn’t work.
And the alternative model you suggest is to pump more money in. Is that sustainable for a club our size?
FFP is a load of rubbish, who has ever adhered to that, if it was enforced I’d happily accept is as an argument but its not and what happens?
Davis is our best signing, rinse and repeat, Defoe anyone?
Again, you keep saying this but provide no evidence.
Our net spend over the last 5 seasons is 6.6 Million per season (only Burnley, Spurs and Swansea have lower), where is the other money then?
Superb business model but football model?
PSG? Chelsea? Man City?
Are they within the guidelines?
Guess so.
I knew you were going to post fines, you do see the irony in that don’t you? Get fined if you’re wealthy, FFP is dead in the water, for a start ask yourselves how those 3 came to prominence in recent times?
Insofar as ur wailing against the world, the rigged system, and shaking fist at the clouds, I am with you bro. Your ideas for a Better Saints Business Model, as far as they go, ain’t up to much tho imo.
Then this is far as we can go, thats my point, this is what I am saying, I’ll believe Kruger when we don’t sell a player who others want, like VVD for instance in the summer, or Betrand, until then what he is saying is a pipedream, unless we pay the better players will go.

FFP is dead in the water: again.
So we ignore it? Spend a shit load of borrowed money? Get fined?
I am not saying I agree with FFP but it is the reality. You comply or you get fined or you have squad/transfer restrictions or you get banned from competitions.
Do you really think that if Kat suddenly said fuck it, I’m bored of these cunts and their dead in the water FFP rules. I’m gonna spunk 200 million on some shit hot talent, that UEFA would just say, yeah crack on Kat?
Would you be happy being in debt (to whoever) for that sort of money?
I’m more than ok with being mid-table prem team, with occasional push for top 6, and occasional relegation scrape, as long as this period of good management + stability ends up with us Winning Something. League cup would do nicely srs.
Debt is only an issue when you can’t pay it, how much debt are Real Madrid in?
Its garbage, my point was, is and will be until we pay more money we’ll be selling our best players and in turn this will affect our performance, we also won’t progress and FFP is an absolute load of rubbish as who has it affected and penalised?
Really who?
So your model is to accrue debt in the hope that it doesn’t go tits up and we end up like the cunts down the road?
