And it’ll be less repetitive.

What plan either we spend more money on wages or we don’t, if we don’t we sell so therefore how do we improve by continually selling? The continuity is all screwed up for a start. The proof will be when VVD and Bertrand run out in a Saints strip next season as I say aiming for 5th place…
I can see them coming out now, what a team
Flowers
Bale
Chambers
Lovren
Wright
Williams
Lallana
Wallace
Schneiderlin
Shearer
Lambert
If we paid them more they wouldn’t have gone anywhere, I understand this, does Kruger?
How does he think we’ll break into the top 7/6/5/4 places on a consistent basis?
Rolling out academy players and astute buys?
Oh deary me.

Forgive me if I have missed something here, but havent several players been offered more money to stay and have signed contract extensions?
You can be forgiven but I am not too sure what that has to do with players leaving for more money.

OK, so your view is that we’re very unlikely to get better than sixth place with the current transfer and salary policy. Fair enough. Now, to get fifth place or higher, we’d need to finish higher than at least two out of Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham. You also hold the view that we can’t compete with these clubs in terms of what they spend on transfer fees and wages. I’d certainly agree with that, and I wouldn’t like to see us try to match them.
So, how exactly would you square this circle?
We can’t without spending the money, we simply can’t so therefore what is Krugers plans for this?
That’s my point, my whole point, its a charade, he knows this and so do we all if we’re all honest.
It would be impossible to build a team on a consistent basis without it being picked off by other clubs so what is his plan?
Its a fair question and one I think he is bullshitting on, if we’re not going to pay the wages how are we going to do it?
How will we retain the players without spending the money on wages?
Its pie in the sky thinking.
Barry’s (like seemingly many on here) idea of succeeding in a debate is simply by being the last one to post on a subject, regardless of whether any of the points he’s made are relevant. It’s a war of attrition, not an discussion. “You should’ve seen me today, love, I properly owned them on the forum. I just kept on and on and on until they all gave up, changing the terms of the debate to suit my needs. None of them could cope with the sheer volume of nonsense I was posting. A truly great day for the Sanchez brand of rhetoric.”
Its a forum, and I am open to a differing debate, if you are defending or agreeing with Krugers statements maybe you could enlighten me to how he’ll achieve these noble aims?
what is the krueger statement that has got barry all riled up? Has he said something? I’ve read back but i can’t find nothing.

Its his little statements about growing the club organically, like peas and grapes.
oh i’d like to read that, was it today? It ain’t on the os
No he normally posts on the German websites like Kicker
So you really think the allure of playing for a top four club, probably in the Champions League too, really has nothing to do with our better players leaving? Come on mate, you honestly cant be that deluded surely?
No I don’t, normally the top 4 and high wages go hand in hand anyway, I’ll also throw in China as well.
Money rules the roost and that’s it.

Is this the peas and grapes one that made you angar? Seems pretty mundane tbh.
Barry, are you upset because Ralph hasn’t sent you a detailed copy of a 10 year plan?
Peas make me angry, they are all green and smug. Like grapes.
Grapes are the worst! What grapes do, is when they go stale and brown and gross, they don’t throw them away like other foods, they just scrape the mold off, put them in little red boxes, and re-sell them as “raisins”. It’s a fkn racket.
Peas are the devil’s bogeys. 'Tis true.
