Well done to @Numptyboi who pipped me to this week’s , to be honest I think me getting the West Ham v Norwich score correct had more to do with it as @Numptyboi predicted 4 results correctly to my 3

@Rugbysaint and @Polski_Filip swap places again, whereas there is quite a bit of movement in mid-table with me dropping 3 places, @Goatboy and @lifeintheslowlane both climb 2 places but it’s tight in the middle.
With @Upsidedownsaint back in the fold and @Dizzyfeet winning, @Dizzyfeet extends his lead over the foot of the table to 43 points, however it looks like the only way is up for him…
'tis a bit tighter at the bottom with any of the current bottom 5 (me, @PhilippineSaint, @JxgrSaint, @Saint-Rob, and @Goatboy) looking likely to come last (based on their current predictions).

My previous post lauding @Rugbysaint was maybe a but premature as he was pipped at the post by @PhilippineSaint who predicted both of the last 2 games correctly, 1 close, 1 exact, this let him steal the lead, and his 2nd , by ½ a point.
Other end of the week sees a familiar story last week’s winner, @TheMightyOstrich, has a rubbish week and earns his 4th , again by ½ point!!

The other end of the table sees the continuation off a bad couple of weeks for @Cobham-Saint, his 4 results earn him 6.5 points and the by ½ a point.
Lots of change in the leader board with @DellBoy claiming top spot from the recent 2 combatants, @Cobham-Saint continues his plummet down the table, I’m sure it won’t be long before @Upsidedownsaint overtakes him.
So spake @Cobham-Saint and how correct was he?? An extended round this one, with 14 games to predict results for (based on team shirts obvs) and hethey managed to get 8 results correct, 2 exact and 3 close, someone somewhere must have seen a black cat walk by!! @Cobham-Saint goes from last week’s loser to this weeks winner.
Our other resident antipodean (although we probably have lots more) @Upsidedownsaint can consider themselves unlucky as they had the same number of exacts, close and result as @Cobham-Saint, however the Superbru algorithm has decided that the latter’s were more deserving of the top spot.
As seems to be the case @PhilippineSaint sees themselves, once again, at the bottom of the predictions. 1 results and 3 close, poor effort there but it gets you this week’s
What a stonking round @Rugbysaint had this round, they obviously want to get that top of the leader board spot back. I don’t think I’ve seen a better performance, only 1 match mis-predicted out of 9, with 4 (four!) sport on, 2 close and 2 results. A well deserved
Unfortunately it seems that @PhilippineSaint’s predicting of all the scores at the beginning of the season has come back to bite him on his arse, big style, 2nd consecutive and 7th overall, and yet he isn’t bottom of the table, or even near it!!
Whilst everyone seemed to have a good predicting week, 4.5 points separating the top 13 players, poor old @PhilippineSaint’s run of bad predictions seems to continue. This week’s earned with a paltry 7 points, 3 results, 2 close and a slam point, still that’s 5 games predicted.
@Polski_Filip takes this week’s thanks to an extra slam point. Him and @lifeintheslowlane got the same points for their predictions but as @Polski_Filip predicted 10 results (none exact) he got 3 slam points. @lifeintheslowlane predicted 9 results (1 exact) but only got 2 slam points. Such is the margins.
