Anyone at Leeds we fancy cheap?
Leeds United owe other clubs £190m in transfer fee instalments on player purchases, £73m of which is due by June 30th 2024. However they are only due to receive £2m on player sales

I dont know him either, but did meet his dad a few times who was a good friend of a friend. They are are ordinary local family that were always big Saints fans and At the time I met him Adam was just breaking through into the first team and really enjoying his football…
Its easy for us fans to talk about it going to his head and billy big bollocks etc, but that is not uncommon amongst young folks who get success and oodles of cash quickly then move away and dont have the parental influence they need to keep feet closer to the ground.
I think Adam basically misjudged the mood and was badly advised as to how to deal with it… he knew how fans felt and then made it worse with newspaper ad… He aint a bad person, he just made an arse of himself like most of us have when young, only in the public eye and with an audience that is one of most unforgiving there is when it comes to player’s belittling their club as they see it…
Life’s to fucking short to bear grudges… I say if he does return, cut him some slack, forgive and let him make as best a contribution as he can. If he adds no value he will be gone again soon anyway, and if he does, would be churlish to let that go unappreciated…

That’s the main point. Newly promoted clubs aren’t exactly a magnet for PL level players, given the likelihood of a season long relegation scrap. So any leverage we have to drag in a few players who’ve been there and done that (PL I mean, not the relegation scrap 
) ought to be used.

The biggest shock for me was the money involved …
£12.5m per year salary plus £25m per year signing on bonus (paid over the 5 year contract). Holy schmoley … £37.5m per year
