Adolescence on Netflix…

Makes you think a lot, not quite what I was expecting but explains a lot and evokes a lot of emotions. Each hour long episode was filmed in 1 take!

Toxic Town also on Netflix…

Harrowing story about birth defects in Corby and the parent’s fight for justice. Jodie Whittaker shines in her role as one of the mums. Show’s the different attitudes to H&S prevalent at the time and, probably, still ongoing now.

What surprises me is that no-one has face any charges over what went on.

My Provider of Streams has the latest episodes of
Daredevil: Born Again
The Wheel of Time
Reacher
All ready at the same time to watch.

Which one did I choose?

Reacher

Never in doubt

None, you just watched Paradise again.

Reacher is up to scratch/punch/gouge/stomp/dismember. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Really quite exceptional - Then again anything Stephen Graham has been in generally is… One of the best actors of his generation - Really important themes tackled here and I would say a must watch given how things are heading with social media… and the 1 take approach creates an emotional realism that is hard to watch yet utterly compelling. Really well acted by a the whole cast.

Anyone watching Severance on Apple? Quite well reviewed but I’m just finding it irritating. Tried getting into it on a couple of occasions, but I last 10 minutes.

There’s a lot of buzz he should be the new Batman.

I say bullshit he is the reboot Terminator needs.

When you hear this. You will know

But first he has 20 odd more books to film.

Reacher.

Awesomeness

Oh for those days again.:smiling_imp:

But it isn’t a clinate warning woke thing it’s about fire is a spirit we can use it

9.9 on Imdb

A friend has asked.
Why do all TV show themes now sound/look like Westworld with that whole Piano & Viola/Cello thing

While I perused Forest vs Utd on my phone this evening, the bird took the opportunity to catch up on a couple of episodes of Virgin River, as recommended by her daughter. So I didn’t exactly watch it, but it was on while I chortled at the game.

I’ll go out on a limb here. That has to be the worst scripted and most turgidly acted series since the 80s. It’s terrible. Grotesquely predictable lines follow continuously in a grim parade, while a cast of Woodentops deliver them with all the panache of a robot reading out the shipping forecast. Quite dreadful stuff, and I honestly can’t believe it survived the pilot episode, let alone spawned multiple series. Baffling.

Just think Crossroads

It’s worse than Crossroads.
