Quite enjoying ‘Fallout’ on Prime, gory, black humour post nuclear war survival based on the games of the same name. Pretty loyal to the source material with a few tweaks, plenty of fan service and references/in-jokes that fans of the games will get, but you don’t need to have encyclopaedic knowledge of to understand the plot. They have been quite clever as there are 3 main protagonists to follow, and a diverse cast that isn’t forced, just feels natural like it should. They have obviously pumped some money into this as the production is very good.

It’s building up to a stonking finale I can feel it in my bones.
I’ve just finished binge watching ‘This Town’, the six part series created and written by Stephen Knight, who wrote Peaky Blinders. It’s set in Birmingham and Coventry during the height of the Irish ‘Troubles’, and tells the story of the formation of a band against the backdrop of the violence. It got mixed reviews, mostly positive, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Some really good performances by mostly unknown young actors, highly recommended.

So, I took the Spotify 3 months free premium deal and decided to pay the full fee of £10.99 a month afterwards (starting this month) - I get an email today saying they’re increasing it to £11.99 a month. Ffs

Late to the season but fonally catching up with American Idol.
I love the way it hits heartstrings and gives kids a chance.
Then sometimes a kid walks on and it can be goosebumps or tears from a happy story.
This was goosebumps. Who cares who wins this was wonderful
So i have something to keep the sinuses running…

Watch it and take note of all the background visuals and sound.
Not filmed in the original house but a similar one in the street (I think) with cameras hidden so it didn’t detract from what was going on.
