I still have the final episode to watch/savour. :grinning:

Watched the first episode and it didn’t grab me

A few press reviews I read said first episode is a bit off, but the rest are much better.

The Empire review is pretty effusive as was The Guardian…

Typical Ryan Reynolds action comedy caper

Not too taxing but diverting enough

Utter bullshit film. Very enjoyable

Troll - in Norwegian so it is subtitled. Plot holes, but enjoyable enough for a freezing Sunday afternoon

Spirited, Ryan Reynolds and Elf, good fun

Well.
I’m an idiot
(But you know that)
About 1 million years ago I started watching S2 of Jack Ryan on Amazon.
It was dull compared to S1 and by Ep 3 it was meh…
This week I read that the new S3 drops on 21st December- how I thought, it was boring.
So I tuned back in to Ep4
And am binge watching it.
My bad, it is paying back the meh with just action on action.
I’m a fan again - hooked

Slow Horses…Apple TV…2 Seasons so far. Brilliant script, Gary Oldman unsurprisingly brilliant, Kristin Scott Thomas very good, leading a strong cast. Thoroughly recommended. On to season two which is supposedly better.

I mentioned Dodger on iPlayer a while back - Kids drama with Christopher Ecclstone playing Fagin.

Just watched a couple of ā€œspecialsā€ - one being an Xmas one

Worth investing the time.

Just seen series 1 is available on Sky so will have a little look :lou_smiley:

There’s a recent YouTube interview video with Gary Oldman and Saskia Reeves and they said they are shooting series 3 at the moment, season 4 has been commissioned too. They both love playing their roles.

Shame it is not more widely available

Apple TV is quite cheap and they don’t tie you to a year subscription. No Sky either?

I have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Sky Sports (via Now). That is getting near Ā£50/month. Can’t really afford to add more.
