The Awakening of Motti Wolkenbuch

Jewish / German comedy - Netflix

Quite enjoyable

It makes them feel special.

Which to be fair, most of them are.

Fury

Brad Pitt - Band of Brothers / Shaving Ryan’s Privates, but in a tank.

A diverting couple of hours man-interest film (no @scotty) - Mrs C_S off watching some even lower brow populist Saturday tv

My mate Paul who met many of you was a Viano driver.
He actually drove Brad around to Bovington from that Posh hotel in the Forest for a couple of weeks.
Great lad apparently shared smoking breaks & stories with Paul

Does he eat his way through the film, as usual?

No but he did chain smoke

Girlfriends Day - Netflix

Bob Odenkirk - comedy apparently - but some of it could quite easily have fitted into BCS episodes

Actors from BBC and BB included.

Quite liked the reformed white supremacist racists.

‘The Watcher’ on Netflix, if you like a whodunnit that strings you along for 8 hours then doesn’t have a ‘who’ for the ‘dunnit’ then this is perfect for you.

Final verdict - Load of shit, zero stars.

The Trader - short documentary (Netflix) - Georgian language - potatoes are currency and poverty crushed ambition

Quite sad and depressing

With a watch - only 23 mins

I enjoyed Michael Palin - Into Iraq.
I had so many invites to go there, including from the National Security Advisor who (sadly) had a picture of me presenting him with his DataCentre training certificate hanging on his wall.
It would have been cool after my product was shown on the front page of half the world’s press on the day Baghdad fell (and surviving) - like to think me & Damascus Saint layed our part in rebuidling some of the place in a small small way

Brad Pitt is in some of the best movies of our era and sometimes, he doesn’t even play Brad Pitt.

Rise of the Viking - Prime

Oddly Jonathan Banks is in it - oddly (or not) he’s Mike Ehrmantraut in Viking costume 🤷🏼

I still haven’t watched Fight Club. 🤦

SAS Rogue Heroes. BBC

Very entertaining and mainly true

Mostly true - based on a book, but fascinating history - look up history of the SBS too, loads of wartime derring-do.
