Yes.
But they were dull as dish water live at Glasto.
Great tunes zero stage presence

I guess the combined talent negated the need to make the crowd love them

Why show off when you know the tunes are pretty much all crowd pleasers?

Jeff Lynne is Rock n Roll royalty.

Between Two Ferns The Movie - Netflix

Zach Galifianakis comedy caper with him trying to get a step up from his PBS talk show to Prime Time

Cross country road trip interviewing celebrities and asking toe-curling questions - some genuinely WTAF / laugh out loud moments

The attempted drowning of Matthew McConaughey and the stealing of Peter Dinklageā€˜s Faberge eggs scenes were standout imho.

The outtakes at the end are worth staying around for.

A nice easy watch.

So I’ve watched a lot more of Sandman. Was up until about 4am this morning watching it after a nice long afternoon nap yesterday.

I’m very impressed. It’s a journey into some dark places, it’s proper 18 certificate material. There’s an episode set almost entirely in a diner in which the conceit is that people are mandated to tell the truth.

Even though this is the same comic book universe, they did not use the actor from the show Lucifer to portray the character in this adaptation. Instead, they’ve gone for Gwendoline Christie, Brienne from Game of Thrones. She’s very good.

Loads of other great acting talent in this. David Thewlis has a particularly memorable turn, like his Fargo S3 performance on steroids.

Still watching it now. On episode eight.

I picked up the Christmas Specials dvd of Shameless a while ago and liked it so much that when I saw the full set of every series recently I bought it.

Watched the first two episodes of the first series yesterday, it is absolutely jaw droppingly funny, best thing I’ve seen since Brockmire. I’d particularly recommend it to the juvenile funny bones of @Cobham-Saint and @pap
, but I think most of you lot would enjoy it.

Probably won’t be as funny as Blackadder Goes Forth.

A Violent Man - Netflix

Craig Fairbrass as an aging con in max security prison

Sometimes hard to follow, but weirdly compelling.

I’m enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. Steve Martin and Martin Short are on top form which is good to see, I think in recent past they have been unsuccessful because they have been trying too hard to be the main attraction, in this they can go about their business with plenty of co-stars to share the burden. Well written with characters that have a bit of depth about them. Good stuff.

It’s Apple TV’s #1 show for that very reason, and hopefully more to come.

Guilty pleasure - really enjoyed Masterchef Celebrity even though I have no idea who McFly or any of them other than Chris Eubanks were
