Yes, the ones I’ve mentioned above are all from ITV4. They’re slowly disappearing from the catch up list though. Great fun to watch.

I’ve only ever had a passing interest in basketball, but I’m enjoying ‘Winning times: The rise of the Lakers dynasty’, an over dramatised docu-series with plenty of artistic license and a strong cast, charting the rise of the L.A. Lakers (and rookie Magic Johnson) from perennial losers to NBA powerhouse.

The Sparks Brothers - Netflix

Documentary about Sparks

Been going years, we all know a few of their songs, but this is a great eye opener about them musically over the last 50 years.

Apart from their early days you won’t come away knowing anything about them personally though.

Netflix- Jimmy Saville A British Horror Story

Ep1 ok to watch

Ep2 very hard

Have you considered traditional wanking material?

The Ipcress file is entertaining
Creates a Cold War vibe very well, Joe Cole isn’t Michael Caine but fits the role well.

Nice find on my back up provider and not SciFi for once. You’ve probably all watched it on ITV hub already.
Love the old cars in it, I guess @lifeintheslowlane watches it instead of pornhub, proper car porn

Not just LITSL. We’ve been enjoying it too, great piece of television. The bird’s away at her daughter’s place this week so I’ve recorded the final episode for when she gets back. I’ve also dug out my old copy of the book to reread, we were speculating about the MGB that got blown up, guessing that Palmer and the girl walking away behind a hedge and out of sight was probably written into the script to avoid having to show the actual car going up in smoke :grin:

Hidden. bbc iplayer. Murder / abduction thriiler but quite different. Deep, very dark, gritty. Lots of time spent on character insight. If you like US style pacy, glitzy, cop thrillers this may not be for you.

Some of it in Welsh. Portrays some of the most desperate “have nots” in rural Wales. Was released in Wales only then re-released UK wide, two more series have followed. I found series one to be compelling.

Ooh. That penultimate shot of car porn in The Ipcress File

What a marvellous show that was hopefully ITV will green light adaptations of the 3 sequels

Severance, very good so far, it’s about split memories, volunteers agree to go to work and when they get there their brain is wired to work and they finish it reverts to leisure as such, good cast and wholly recommend so far.

Just caught up with BBC’s true life “Four Lives”, a three parter about gay serial murderer/rapist Stephen Port starring Stephen Merchant and Sheridan Smith. Just brilliant if disturbing TV…both Merchant and Smith outstanding. Both myself and Lady Slowlane found it emotionally involving.
