Vikings : Valhalla

on Netflix

Basically the sequel to Vikings but 100 years in the future.

Same vibe. On Ep3 back to back so it must be doing something right.

Big Bug - French language quirky sci-fi farce.

Robots stage a coup in 2045 & home androids protect the family

Well worth a watch

Big Match Revisited, 25th February 77, available on catch up. Main match the cup tie between Saints and Man U at the Dell, brilliant watch and a fascinating interlude at the end with Brian Moore doing interviews in the players lounge.

Not sure if anyone else has watched it but have just finished Another Life on Netflix

“ the world for alien intelligence. She leads a crew that is on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact that has been found on Earth. As Breckinridge and her young crew investigate, they face unimaginable dangers on what may end up being a one-way mission. ”

Won’t spoil it but although it was slow to get into it becomes compulsive viewing albeit the ending is a bit shmaltzy.

Cough
SciFi.
Loved it.

Now watch Raised by Wolves ffs

Nah, couldn’t get into it :man_shrugging:t3:

Ditto.
And that is why I stuck with it. Took me ages to get through S1. S2 is equally hard to watch and get into.

Yet it is so clever and eventually so good

Will add it back at thev bottom of the list of stuff I have to get through

Another brilliant Big Match Revisited, December 15th 1979. Comedy defending by the bucket load from Swansea at Stamford Bridge, pitch invaded by a Border Collie at Newcastle, and a corner flag issue prompting the showing of a linesman injury earlier in the season resulting in Jimmy Hill coming on as emergency lino :smile:

On Saturday ITV4 had Match Time Revisited, which was Granada TV s “Big Match”.

Nov 1981 Liverpool v Saints, a game I watched from The Kop. You can get it off ITV hub or Catch up.

Next Saturday is the game the following week, at home to ManU.
