Yeah I watched it all the way through and it was OK which doesn’t extend as far as a recommendation.
Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo.
Faces for radio.
I suppose Kermode does work as a critic, if he recommends a film avoid it, if he slams a film it’s worth a a watch…
Fair enough, I won’t be going to watch the Bond film any time soon.
I would. It’s rather good.
Tbh am not a Bond fan.
Its planned as my Birthday treat. Bond & a proper Curry House dinner
Took the bird to the Concorde on Sunday night, for an evening of Bond music. It was rather good.
Long story made short.
Mrs P_F done Farming at College.
I just earned a zillion Brownie points & multiple Hall Passes.
By finding Clarkson’s Farm on my back up provider.
She’s in tears!
Weirdly Clarkson’s Farm was quite watchable- as much as didn’t want it to be.
Binged it while in “quarantine” on my trip back in July.
Enjoyed.
Jezza is a legend. Sat next to him in the
Last row of an Emirates flight & he filmed my Landrover & said it was the coolest 4x4 in town
Must post a pic 1 day
I’ve a mate from school days, who now lives in my neck of the woods, & who’s uncannily like Clarkson’s on-screen persona. I’ve seen less and less of him over the years and lockdown has been a godsend.
C’mon now lads. You know I am legally mandated to post this every time he-that-will-not-be-tamed is mentioned.
Killing Gunther - an Arnie film though he’s only in the last 25mins.
Nice twist at the end
Quite amusing.
Arnie is not a C&W singer btw.
Revisited The Ballard of Buster Scruggs on Netflix- worth a watch.
I’ve mentioned this service before but I really like Britbox. Let’s face it, it took a long time for American shows to get near the consistency of UK shows and the vast majority of their comedy gets lost in translation.
Something else I haven’t seen for literally decades was The Adam and Joe Show, something recently remedied through the service.
I’m surprised re-watching it how much of it was pilfered by bigger acts. Nigel Buxton, a.k.a Baaadad (RIP) is my favourite bit of the show.
Have to admit enjoying the Netflix Series (all 7 seasons) “Grace and Frankie” with Septuagenarian leads Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen. A lot of laughs…scripted with a light hand taking in some burning issues of the age. Recommended, Lady Slowlane loves it…maybe it’s our age.
Whippersnappers!
