Starmer-cide watch

Not looking good for the charlatan in chief.

How long has he got?

    1. Days
    1. Weeks
    1. Months
    1. Years

0 voters

Nobody in his party has enough about them to oust him, and there’s no realistic prospect of a no confidence vote. I think he’ll see out his term.

Reckon he’s got a couple of years barring a major fuck up

He has still got Reeves to throw under the bus

I think he will be cast aside when the next election is 12-18 months away and Reform look like they are getting a landslide, but then it will be too late. Reform are currently eating Labours dinner, the fall in the poll rating is mirrored by the rise in Reform

Immigration is the key battleground and Labour cannot get their act together

I see the Human Rights Act was deployed again to prevent the first deportations on the French one in one out deal

The ECHR and the act need massive reform or replacement if we are to get a grip of this situation

Uhm… The ECHR is not the problem here, and I am not comfortable with the suggestion that its binned at a whim to those with issues over migration… the reason Reform and many tories have issues with it, is not migration, but with many of its clauses that prevent the rich exploiting workers… The Right have always had issues with laws that protect people…

Migration whilst an important debate is a distraction, a prime example of how the Right find an issue that they feel will create a lot if froth and anger in the ā€˜people’ - to create one and only one ā€˜problem’ and then seek power by proclaiming they are the only ones able to solve it!

Ultimately, just like in the US its about blaming migrants for 50+ years of under investment in infrastructure and services, and ignoring more recent contributors to our economic woes such as Brexit and Covid… and even remaining legacy from the the banking crises from 2006… caused by the very people looking to make mileage out of the migrant story.

Its fucking disgraceful that instead of telling Farage to go fuck himself and calling out his followers for what they truly are, and talking sense to those who want to vote for the cunt, Starmer is running scared… pandering to fucking racists and bigots, who have no real solutions just big mouth unworkable ill-thought out ideas and idiotic rhetoric - where are his fucking balls to call this for what it is! The drive home the real issues and demonstrate real practical solutions?

He is acting like an unprincipled idiot, probably more concerned with the fickle opinion polls than running the country

The problem is not that I dont want the spineless twat out, but the lack of an alternative that can stand up to the Right with pragmatic and workable solutions that maintain what true Brits have pride in: our sense if fairness, compassion and integrity.

Sadly, as in the US, there might just be enough people wither snouts in trough, or ignorant and stupid enough to think all their shitty lives will suddenly be improved by stopping a few boats…

Migration isn’t just a distraction, its been a problem that has finally come home to roost

In the last 20 years net migration to the UK is 6m - pretty much 10% of our population - 2m of those have come in the last 4 years which is why it is in such focus - we have not been able to manage it at that level

Like all these issue they are ignored by successive govts until they can’t be - and labour cannot ignore this one. At some point a govt will have to deal with public sector pensions and the triple lock, but that won’t be on Labours watch.

Where we are at now, decent people, hard working people are saying its not fair that these people come to the UK illegally and immediately get housed, fed etc and we cannot get housing have to use food banks etc - there is a legitimate sense of injustice here.

And when those people have spoken up before, they have been casually dismissed as racists and bigots or they are gullible and thick.

Guess what - these people are now saying fuck you if you think that way about them. The politicians are struggling to get their head around that. Labour used to have a good grip on this as their MPs came form the working class and many of them had worked in real jobs, their friends and family were working class. Nowadays they are Oxbridge PPE grads - they are out of touch.

I voted ā€œweeksā€, and yes, there is a big element of sticking my neck out, but events, dear boys, events.

The Mandelson thing will be seen as the straw that broke the camel’s bacl.

The excuses don’t line up. No normal person would have sent Mandelson to be US Ambassador, even without a clear Epstean connection. He’s been sacked twice.

But they knew he’d stayed at his gaff, which Emily Maitlis had Prince Andrew squirming over.

The other thing is that you’ve now got a pissed off Peter Mandelson out and about.

The leaks will flow.

So why were these people not protesting 20 years ago? They voted as they did knowing what was happening… housing shortages: inly 80k new public houses built since 1982, 2 million built prior to that since 1947 most of which was sold off to many of the parents of those now protesting!

Housing for migrants? - so how many want to go live in hotels with 4 to a room?

The problem is the slow process for dealing with applications… and the lack of reciprocal agreements now we are no longer part of the EU.

We have economic shite to deal with but you have ignored the real causes and instead seem to defend the ignorance of the belief its all migrants fault and that its right to blame them…

If you did not notice, food banks have been around long before the ā€˜migrant’ problem… but again no acknowledgement that this was the fault of Thatcher and Thatcherism to follow.

We may be on the cusp of ā€˜people having had enough’ but they are shouting at wrong people - why are they not protesting outside Deliveroo offices about employing asylum seekers who are not allowed to work? No? better to go and intimidate folks in hotels then go home and order a BigMac and fries (to be delivered of course)

The more i think about this fuck up, I wonder about whether it was more of a misjudged/miscalculated strategy? If Mandy had this Epstein connection (why does everyone say Ep- steen, when its Ep-styne), He might have had some dirty on Trump and so might have been able to keep that ā€˜enemy’ closer… but ultimately knowing he was being the mate of a nonce is a no no…

Point of order.
Protests sgsinst immigration started back in tge 60s with the original wave…

But both your & CB posts are eloquent.
I just don’t understand how Germany & Poland deport illegals when the ECHR applies to them

But then i gave up on politics when I realised they are all crooks

Given that they’re supposedly all coming from war zones without food, medicine, shelter or drinking water available, probably quite a few.

It does feel like a tipping point has been passed, where everything he says or does reinforces the impression that he’s simply ignoring the views of the majority of the population in favour of his chosen minority groups.

Why were people not protesting before?? I have said before that the British people are a pretty tolerant bunch and will put up with a lot until they have had enough - that’s where I think we have got to

Its the Human Rights Act in the Uk and gives the ECHR greater sway over our legal landscape - our judges are compelled to take its rulings into account

I guess Poland / Germany don’t have that and can stick two fingers up at it from time to time
