:tottenhamfc: Spurs v Saints :saints: (PL)

Charlie looks fucked already. WTF was that from Targett? He’s been watching too much rubgy

Double save. What have we got to do …

Dier really is neanderthal man. On comes Dally Alley. Fuckin mincer. Bound to score.

You’d be forgiven for thinking we’re 3 down. We’re fucking knocking it about for fun. Get the fucking ball in the box.

Short of a fucking invitation, WTF were we just doing. Just let Kane saunter in to the box. FFS

3 minutes of this torture still to go

Fucking woodwork AGAIN. Thank fuck for that.

Could have f’kin won it if the post was kinder

If the fucking goal was 2" bigger all round we’d have strolled it. Hey ho. COYR

Hit the woodwork 3 times. Missed fuck knows how many good chances. 3 soft goals with shit defending. Poor game from Yoshida.
Apart from that, I thought we did ok

TOTTENHAM 3-1 SOUTHAMPTON

FT: It’s all over. Tottenham get back to winning ways as new Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl watched on from the stands. After suffering a derby defeat to Arsenal on Sunday, Spurs were in ruthless mood as Harry Kane (9), Lucas Moura (51) and Son Heung-min (55) took advantage of some poor defending by Saints. Charlie Austin netted late as the visitors hit the woodwork three times in the game. Stay tuned for highlights.

Yes. He was offside but we deserved a bit of luck. 3-1 and Barry missed the whole thing coz he’s a prick.

GOAL! TOTTENHAM 3-1 SOUTHAMPTON (Austin, 90+2)

That’s more than deserved. Austin scampers in behind and gets the run on Foyth. He usually doesn’t miss in these situations and he powers one into the top corner. Lovely.

Consider the above post posted before the previous post.

Just our luck Charlie scored a couple of minutes too late robbing us of a couple of chance to hit the woodwork again. :lou_sad:

Slept through that. My alarm probably went of as everyone got home. Need @PhilippineSaint to go to one of those dodgy Asian markets to see if he can buy Ralph2 some silk purses. He’s stuck with a bunch of Sows ears as CB’s at the moment and doubt even our new Messiah can turn them round as fast as opposition strikers do.
Fuck I need more coffee.

This is what Jack Stephens had to say about our fans after the game. :

‘The defender paid tribute to the travelling Saints fans who made the journey to Wembley for last night’s 3-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Now Stephens says togetherness is key as the club ushers in a new era under the 51-year-old Austrian. “Tonight, last Saturday at home and Tuesday night at Leicester they were outstanding. It’s been a difficult time – for us, for them and for the whole club,” he admitted. “To have them still supporting us and still singing at the end is a massive, massive positive, which gives us reason to believe we can stay up.’
