Now this might seem trivial but I’d like someone to check the stats on this.
When we kick towards The Chapel End in the first half we lose. It was the same at The Dell, kick towards The Milton we lost.
When we win the toss we always kick towards the Northam.

Couldn’t understand how we went in 2-0 up at half time but the longer it went on you just felt it was coming. A sickener to lose to them in Fergie time but you can’t keep giving them the ball and expect to get something out of the match. We looked knackered on the second half.

End of the day, it was a good game.
It’s always the worst result - losing a lead. But we have them.a tough game. I’m frustrated because, although I accept they showed some quality in coming back, and in their goals, we were responsible for our own downfall, losing the intensity and concentration.
But we’re still good.

I thought we were always too open at the back but gave a classy UTD side a hard game and but for some lack of drive might have clung on to at least a point.

Disappointing because a brother-in-law is a Utd supporter and he’ll give me gyp about this, but they have some very good players and they played well. We scored with two great goals against the run of play, but didn’t create many other chances and they did - Greenwood should have scored after about 5 mins. Just like the Wolves game McCarthy kept us in it.

Still made a few howlers we didn’t get righteously punished for tbf.
True but we faced a much sharper front line than we do normally. United showed they can press as well and had more quality.

The way we play out at the back we are bound to get caught fucking about at least a couple of times per season. That’s the price we pay for our system.

I popped over there as it’s always a good laugh after a loss … Fucking hell, you’d think that we just got relegated. It really is bed wetting central ! We lost … Move on. We were going to lose at some point. Better it was to a good team than someone rooted to the bottom of the table. I know the manner in which we lost is a bummer but remember people … It’s only football. COYR

In a way it is better that we lost to a Utd side playing well, rather than a poor side who won with an iffy penalty.
