Just watched MotD. The commentator (the truly dreadful Jonathan Pearce) happily glossed over both potential sendings-off. For the first, Werner was apparently off balance; for the second, Kanté had a right to go for the ball. So that’s all OK then. No cards, no worries.

And in the studio neither incident even got a mention.
