At home to liverpool about 4 or 5 years ago I think, Pelle and Mane scoring.
We werenāt 2-0 down in that game.
We were but we didnāt win, we drew 3-3,
Think that was the last time Werner scoredā¦no, no, no that was this season FFS
So you were wrong then, because a/ we didnāt win, and 2/ that was this season

- Southampton picked up their first Premier League home win since their first game in 2021 (1-0 v Liverpool), ending a run of five league games at St. Maryās without a victory (D1 L4).
- Southampton won a Premier League game that they had trailed by two goals in for the first time since March 2016, when they won 3-2 against Liverpool under Ronald Koeman ā a game in which Sadio ManĆ© netted a brace for the Saints.
- Burnley lost after leading 2-0 in a Premier League game for the first time since January 2015, when they were beaten by the same 3-2 scoreline by Crystal Palace.
- This was only the second Premier League game this season to see both teams score twice in the first half, following the 4-3 win for Liverpool against Leeds United on the opening day.
