By the late 60’s that would have been a 15a, which went straight up Burgess Rd. The 15 went up Stoneham Lane/Bassett Green Rd/Daisy Dip before rejoining Burgess Rd. To confuse it more, they changed the 15 to 11 and 15a to 13 when they left Swaythling the opposite way.
Still a better service than operates now FFS.

some of the buildings looked bloody awful when they were new, what were they thinking?
