Did you explain why you look more like a Jesus Tribute Act than Hugh Grant?

I know if you were preaching to an audience in Louisiana you’d have been greeted like the new Messiah but in a more urbane urban location perhaps the clean cut look would serve you better.

Presumably if you’re on stage the audience can see that you are indeed standing up.

They were probably just worried that you would go at them with your walking axe if they booed.

This may be duplication, but I’m recording this here!

I’ve been right at the centre of a by-election campaign, from sitting on the candidate selection panel, nominating Helen Morgan, writing election leaflets, delivering, canvassing, telling and generally doing anything needed as part of an impressive team.

And we delivered the 7th biggest swing in election history and a stunning victory.

Well done you - I fell off the lib-dem bandwagon at the last election, because I thought that lady leader was on the verge of insane, but will be coming back on board next time the hustings are open.

This must have had some influence. It went to 20,000 households as a “last push” in 5 hours yesterday morning. (I’m Geoff from Wem🤣)

When she was elected I thought she’d be good, but she made disastrous mistakes. Should never have let Johnson call an election. Should never have declared she’d cancel Brexit without another referendum.

Ed Davey is a safe pair of hands but I like Daisy Cooper (who I met today). Tim Farron is also excellent as a clear thinker and speaker but was, and would again be crucified by the gutter press over his misrepresented statements on Christianity and homosexuality.

I know this’ll mean fuck all to anyone but @BTripz, but I finally achieved moderator rights on StackOverflow.

It means something to me too - quite an achievement.

Took a long time. Mostly across two jobs where I had a bit of time to answer people’s questions. Logged in a couple of months ago and saw I was about 1,000 under the threshold, so have been helping people out again.

It’s going on the fucking CV, I can tell you that!

Trouble is with most answers on Stack Overflow and it’s ilk is the “why do you want to do that…” type answer, if people read the questions then they’d realise there was a reason why someone is following a certain tack…

3rd January was the 55th anniversary of starting a career in mapmaking and the 50th anniversary of joining an R&D team to start the world’s first computerised mapping system.

Yes! you are not worthy. :lou_lol:

I must admit, I often just think “fuck off you’re beyond help”.
