Apparently I’m another year older, but not sure if the last 12 months count?
Will be in selected pubs from 1pm as I recall other great England performances on this date. Hand of God. Thomas Brolin. Phil Neville own goal. Stuart Pearce’s redemption penalty.
And don’t get me started on England cricket. Usually at Lords.

My old man has just told me he got his first Teddy boy Jacket from an engineer that used to work on the Antarctic Vessel John Biscoe which is the Vessel in the Sloop John B song

Back in early July last year, we received an offer on our house in Horndean, and put in an offer on one that we really loved in Droxford. Almost a year on, we’ve completed on the purchase. It’s been a saga of almost Norse proportions, but we’ve stuck with it and we’ve got there in the end.
Not sure exactly when we’ll move in properly (we had to complete on the sale in April and are currently staying in Bishopstoke), but the house is ours.

The old station house in Droxford is a gorgeous place - way beyond my means. The old railway line from Gosport to Alton has been converted into a bridle path for much of its length and (obviously really) runs past that house, taking something of a detour from its original course in the process.
