🎂 Sotonians milestones

Not on The Waterside last time I looked, but am too old to be down with the kids.

My mate in Dibden Purlieu used to have a cat called Bifta- never thought to ask why…

The Waterside is 20 years behind the mainland, @Cobham-Saint.

We all know that

I expect the term was adopted in 2012

You don’t say!

I can’t drive anymore, so it’s either convince the missus to drive me there, or, which might be better, I could stay in London wit da yoot and me, your and your male wife can start matchday drinking 24 hours earlier.

This is true and one of the reasons I left

Luckily my aging wardrobe* puts me right at the front of cutting fashion every time I go back - bonus

  • To head off the inevitable sarcasm- not the wooden clothes storage furniture :grinning:

Having been an absentee for a few years, there’s a bit to catch up on.

Have passed another significant birthday (made more palatable by accepting 70 challenges/presents from my family for the year - sort of gives it away).

When I joined Sotonians I had one grandchild. Now I have six.

Think I’ll leave it there. :joy:

We do like those with high fecundity on this site

This is true and I took the wrong turning off the Redbrige roundabout…

Actually, I’m not sure that’s even your choice if you’re a regular grandad. I am assuming you are.

Now Fritzl, on the other hand…

Ok, not Netflix, but Amazon : The Boys, series 2 - first 3 episodes. A glorious limited binge fest.

Marvellous if you want an antidote to all the superhero capeshit. :+1:

Oops wrong thread …

Has Karl Urban’s accent got any better, or does he still sound like a drunk American trying to do a British accent on the hop?

Nope - sounds more Australian-estuary-Engerlish tbh.

FFS how do you quote on here?

And don’t get all superior - especially Fowllyd - it’s bad enough dealing with the IT dickheads at work!

Anyway - Pap - that idea has a lot going for it - particularly the London thing

Correct, but In fact, there’s been a slight change here.

Your instructions still work but you’ll also see the ability to share the selected text - on Twatter, Fartbook or Emale.

Is this something you have to enable per theme as I don’t see that (on my mobile device at least)…
