Scores on the doors are mostly in. Kid Goat waiting on 2 BTEC RESULTS (expecting Merit minimum though) but she is chuffed to get 1 A*, 3 A, 2 B and a C so far. I have told her to get on the cider.

It has just occurred to me - I wonder how many pupils are really pissed off with their teacher assessed marks - legal cases? my teacher discriminated against me, my teacher hated me?

But these grades arenāt randomly made up; theyāre based on evidence - mocks, past papers and questions, assignments that the student has done.

Well done to kid goat! MiniMap ācompletedā GCSE and iGCSE this year and converted to old money from the numbers is 3A, 4B, 2C, No A*s but good results especially as she is still a āyoungā 15 and a half. Congrats to all those getting results today, whatever the results, dont let it define you. You have the future who want to make it.

Kid Goat got distinction in both Btecs so ended with equiv: 1 A*, 5 A, 2 B, 1 C.
On to 6th form where no doubt it will all go wrong and end in addiction and pregnancy.

If there is one piece of advice Iād give her, once sheās finished with celebrating, is not to rest on her laurels.
After I did pretty well in my GCSEs, I was that proud of having them that forgot to enough work the year after. It cost me that year.

This is something Juvenile Unit #1 tried to tell Juvenile Unit #2 for most of her childhood.
Fortunately, while Juvenile Unit #1 had adopted my evil at this point, Juvenile Unit #2 is a chip of the old family block looks-wise. Thereās a look about us and sheās got it.
It clearly never got to her. She never asked us if she was adopted. We only found out about it because Juvenile Unit #1 thought it an amusing story from their childhood.
Iāll give her that.
