Good kid that Kid Goat!
Just got some excellent news. Our youngest, nicknamed SuperTaylor and the less troublesome one (the eldest takes after her old man) has just come through several stages of interview to land a placement at a big accountancy firm.
Sheās quite formidable, our Ki. She doesnāt make a big thing of it.
Another sad/proud moment. The youngest has just got her first year results in for Uni. Highest mark I ever got at Uni, and remember I went to the crap one, was 91%.
She goes to the good one and has just scored a 97%.
Meh I got 100% for my Statistics exam.
Helped by pouring 8 pints of HSB down the Lecturers throat while quizzing him about football.
Or was it the paper?
99% rounded up?
I love @Polski_Filip but I do not trust his assessment on all things, for four main reasons.
- He is King Blag (@BTripz, can we sort a badge out reflecting this status, perhaps put an Emperor Blag on the back burner of Mount Badgiumās furnaces?)
- His TV review system, which seems to alternate between 0% and 100%.
- The unbreakable linked between lies and damned statistics.
- Iām shamed enough -8% down.
Shame on you. In Phil of Dubai and Poland I trust.
As do I. But just not on Englah language culture. I think heās so desperate for it that heād give 100% to Bottle Boys.
One day I will find a link to an old American Movie with the Polish bloke reading the script.
AFTER you lot watch it all the way through you will finally feel my pain.
The sheer JOY I felt today when the lady in the HP Sauce shop spoke to me in broken Englishā¦
God it gets so bad at times I could almost (I mean ALMOST) listen to Carragher & Neville
Iāve been living with gobby scousers.
Iām finding Bottle Boys unfunny but pleasingly sedate.
I thought he had already been awarded a King of the Liggers badge but it does not appear so, I will get on to it first thing tomorrowā¦
Fuck, thatās bad.
I hope they only made one episode of that
Now, donāt tell me.
You happened upon this when you googled Robin Asquith Milkman, didnāt you.
Nah, itās infamous for being one of the worst sit-coms ever produced.
Iād never heard of it, so googled and found out why. It was on ITV for 2 series in Autumn 84 and Summer 85 on a Saturday evening.
Thank fuck for Saints, pubs and Club Cricket.
Cannot argue with that. I also had never heard of it and if as you say it was on at those times i was never likely to see or hear it.
You certainly wouldnāt have turned over from Live Aid to watch it.
Even if Status Quo were on.
