Everybody is equal but FGM is different to circumcision, of course it is.
So what set of rules would you like to apply 1 or 2

I did reply I’ve also said they’re very different as they are well, different, the removal of a foreskin however barbaric is not the same, not the same practice, not in the same climate nor the same procedure.
However wrong they are, one is worse, you talked of black and white, there we have it.
It doesnt matter if one is worse that the other they are both mutilations of genitals you cannot and as you have already said you want one set of rules for all change the rules because of gender.
Well you can as FGM is illegal in the UK and circumcision is legal. There is obviously a difference in law? You may disagree but the law stands but isn’t respected as FGM takes place.

I was going to say the same thing Phil. I am not sure what FGM has got to do with social integration of migrants in the UK. It is illegal here and if anyone does it they are open to prosecution. Same with “honour killings” (murder) and every other anti social activity that is against the laws of the UK. Do that here and no matter what religion, race, creed or colour you are, you willl face prosecution if you break the law. If Barry wants to tell us that the immigrants to this country are ignoring the law and living under their own codes of conduct, lets have that out in the open so we can have a proper debate. If youi want to bring up Sharia courts again Barry, you are aware that they operate outside the the British legal system I take it?

Your far to late. @barry-sanchez is the biggest liberal on here. He’s the love child of Shirley Williams and David Steel.
Told me once i couldn’t quote the Guardian as i had slated one or two of their journalists, which implies that he is in complete agreement with them as he likes linking the paper.
Now i think about it, he does look like Jonathan Freedman(whoever freed him should be shot).
