Social Integration is not happening

Cherts let it go son, let it go, that ship has sailed, the Judge is now with a brass.

I would much rather watch Quincy bugger Petrocelli than plough through this thread.

Or watch an episode of Ironside…

On the 12th page of this thread by true love gave to me…two blokes muttering at each other.

When Paramount secures the film rights to this thread I see Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse in the lead roles.

Sajid Javid has a plan to make sure we are all integrated and love Britain. My only complaint with his plan to make people say an oath to British values is that it is restricted to public sector workers. What about everyone else? Is it ok for them to be terrorists? Javid needs to be tougher. I’d make everyone say the oath every day at 11.00am. Everyone!

Maybe we should do what this lot are doing. They seem to have a better social conscience than the average Brit.

Why do some find it so hard to integrate with such good people?

I am a public sector worker and pretty much most of my office would have to say that oath.

We had our Christmas meal on Friday. Two Muslims came along, there were a few Christians and me being the token atheist. We all seem pretty integrated. The area is pretty diverse and I love it. Have had some of the best hospitality from service users ever. Trying to ply me with cream cakes on visits as their culture is massive on hospitality.

I don’t see that story making the front of the Mail or the Sun.

Which culture are you talking about?

I think all those things are happening. Through my work and friendship group I see many mixed ethnicity and faith families. Maybe it’s just not quick enough for you.

Oh I’m glad this thread has been revived! :lou_sad:

I’m with you ostrich. Perhaps its time to let Barry stew in his own little world whilst we go and do something more productive?

And we all go home at five and live our seperate lives, I want mixed blood, mixed colours and no fucking cultures holding us back, your talking of tolerence I am talking of acceptance, two distinct things.

No where near quick enough, here in the North we have schools that are near 100% foriegn born speaking foreign languages all the time, you think I am exaggerating to make a point, I can assure you I am not and I can assure you again integration will not happen as long as 1st cousins are allowed to marry along with dowry and arranged marriage.

For a start people practising all faiths have to the leave or convert, adherents of the faith I am talking about.

OK. I want you to name 3 schools that have 95% of their students foreign born, in the North.

Have you ever been to Burnley,Oldham, or parts of Blackburn? They’re self imposed aprtheid ghettoes, not a middle class fantasy of inclusion but of exclusion and self imposed exclusion.

You’re dodging the question, Bazza.

No I am not at all, many in these schools won’t idenitfy with the UK as they never go in it whilst iiving there, you think havign a sandwich at lunchtime is multiculturalism, it isn’t, living free from poor cultural practice is the way forward and all living mixed together is the key, my road is middle class we all mix but that isn’t the case in the poorer areas.

Its a fact not a lie.

I’m not entirely sure that you will be able to speed this up - nature can be quite rigid about timescales

That’s fine, name the schools.

What name the schools where English is hardly spoken

If you question culture and whether it is actually legal then it can be enforced very very quickly.

I dunno that you can make foreign languages illegal tbh
