🎨 Show us ya etchings

BBC weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker dabbles in this. He is very very talented.

Love this illustrator. His comedy ones are great and on sale at present. We have a little Bowie one to put up.

Oh and I was proper spoilt last week and was given this. A Stanley Donwood screen print of 2017 Glastonbury poster. Old Stan does the art work to Radiohead and a lot of the Glastonbury stuff.
Cannot wait to get the proper print on the wall.

We went to see the Chihuly exhibition at Kew Gardens today. Stunning blown glass sculptures. I’d like to see them lit up at night.

My uncles have some old religious icons. May need to get them checked!

It was my turn to choose the calendar this year. Safe to say that as each month passes Mrs G is less enamoured with my choice.

It’s nice but resting my pint on it could be a bit dodgy.

Why would you put a pint down?

1/ To alleviate my tired shoulders.
2/ To temporarily rest it whilst I whisk myself away to the lavatory.
3/ If I’m telling an interesting story and I need both hands for animated gesticulations.
4/ If a wasp/hornet is about and I need to vacate the immediate area and leave a sacrificial offering.
5/ If I have finished said pint.
6/ If I need to have a good scratch whilst simultaneously waving at someone in the distance.
7/ If a good song comes on and I need to play air drums.

Pah! Rule one is to finish your pint first.

They were in no particular order :lou_wink_2:

I’m surprised you didn’t pull me up on number 3, I have no interesting stories, ever.

I was being generous tbf

It was suffering needlessly, it was the kindest thing to do.
