I’ve always been a fan. To think that Hughes rarely started with him, sometimes didn’t even include him in the squad. Shameful really. Sadly i think we may well lose him in the summer. You can be sure that the so called ‘big clubs’ will be watching the way he is playing. He is only 24, yet to reach his peak. With the skills he has, especially with free kicks, and his ability to whip the ball in to the box he will be coveted. Expect a big money offer before the deadline ends in September. I really hope i’m wrong though.
He would be best served following Sando and playing in Germany or Spain
He won’t though, and he’ll get as much game time as Danny Drinkwater
