OK, call me mad… but. We have a very young side that does show signs of what it can be, but lacks experience and in some cases direction. Sadly i think some of the better young players will leave on relegation, but if we would see the side in a couple of years…?

I still don’t see any sort of meaningful identity. This is still conservative Ralph-ball.
The high press had to be played at 100mph to be effective and the ball wins in final third was how we scored a lot of our goals. Without that we are nothing. We can’t even counter attack very well anymore because we have no clinical finishers.
Remember when we used to start fast and fade? Now we’re just all fade.
I think any players worth keeping will go and I fear for a young inexperienced side in the championship. Especially one who are pathetic at defending crosses and set pieces. The Championship is a physically demanding and relentless league and fixture list. We are too meek, mild and naive. Zero nasty bastards or hard men.
Do I have any faith in Rasmus Ankerson buying the right players for the “6th best league in the world” (his words)? Fuck no.
We have an outside chance of keeping Livramento given he has been crocked for an entire year.
