Everyone says we were static and seemed to lose confidence but you need to remember that this is Brighton side that recently came from 2-0 down to draw against Fulham and have also beaten Manchester United 3-2.
It’s alright laying the blame at our players feet but there were 22 players on the pitch and the lot in green upped their game in the second half and pressed the hell out of us. Yes we sat back and didn’t tackle but, I believe, this was partly helpd by the bizarre calls of Anthony Taylor.
Their penalty seemed to me (now that I’ve seen it) to be him equalling things up for the soft penalty that he gave us.
All IMHO of course.
