OK. Slightly more serious question in relation to when the FA might actually get round to making their decision? Its accepted that Tonda will be most likely ‘punished’ somehow either with ban or suspended ban (I hope), but surely the longer this goes on without a determination, the bigger the impact? Yes, it was the club’s decision to stand by him and we could have replaced him before the season started, but IMHO we did the right thing given the ‘crime’ was frankly a bit ridiculous as opposed to some morally corrupt or criminal activity… not that you would think so by the self righteousness of some of our own fans which Is IMHO worse than the pisstake banter of the opposition.
But I digress (Nooooo MOM thats not you! ). Surely with the bigger impact of a ban later in the season than before it started, the chances of being excessively royally fucked again this time by the FA increases as each week passes… and when we naturally and justifiably complain that the punishment is therefore excessive for the crime, the morally righteous will simply point to the fact it was our choice to keep him on
The FA have the power to affect the sporting integrity of the league… and our club’s chances of promotion…Given we have already been severely punished, can this really be a justice?
