Not sure how this will go. Any ideas, fellas? I suspect the FA have to tread carefully as they can’t legally prevent him from working. But they want to set an example and it’s much easier doing that with little old Saints than a big hitter club and incur shitloads of legal fees. Fuck knows

Nothing formal to go on, but the best outcome for all would be a suspended ban. the FA have been so slow we are now well into the season and its almost double the punishment if he is now banned and we are forced to look for a new manager. They cant force us to sack him.
Also I am a bit confused by the fact that he broke the EFL competition rules, for which we have been punished, so another punishment that impacts the individual and the club by the FA seems doubly harsh… for a fucking bloke hiding behind tree with an iPhone.
This has IMHO, never been about establishing guilt, we know he did it, its about what is fair - and not influenced by the sour grapes and vindictiveness of other clubs, media and fans…. and relative to lenient punishments dished out for major financial irregularities.
I k ow we all hope we dont get fucked again, but given its the FA, I would not be surprized

Preparing the victim response for the appeals
So what are we expecting tomorrow? Given the FA has conveniently waited for the International break… could this mean a ban and they re giving us more time to find a replacement? Are they that calculating or just late

Parsons should still be squirming from his ineptitude. Some outlets reporting a lenient 4 match ban. FA can’t stop someone from working, especially if they show contrition and the employer shows training, improvement, and all that bollocks. Hoping for a minimal ban with a suspended longer ban. Anything else is punitive.
