🕵️‍♂️ 🤳 Saints - Post Spygate

They’re asking for trouble having a Public Footpath running inside that covered training pitch. :lou_facepalm_2:

Uhm… Easy for ‘junior staff’ to claim they did not want to do it after the fact… if they really felt under pressure they should have reported it to HR - in this day and age that would be enough for them to kick up some shit and get this sorted… why wait until caught?

I’m out with my good wife and some work colleagues. Just took the "I’m nipping to the toilet " to look at this and Fiverweb. Fuck me, you’d think the world has ended. The statement from the club is lawyer-speak and the BBC article is rehashing old news in a sensational way. Completely bollocks.

A certain person of this parish would say "Wet fannies ". And so I rest my case. We march on …

The problem is rival fans know he is a good coach, so want him banned/ sacked so we lose that advantage…

I thought ‘I was only following orders’ was no longer an acceptable excuse tho get of out having done ‘immoral’ things whilst on duty?

I may be being a little paranoid, but it’s pretty clear with the publication of this old news as the main sport lead, there is some campaign at work here. It’s pretty disgusting really that this is happening over what some stupidity and relatively minor transgression compared to the what goes on…

The “crisis mangement” at SF has been carried out by 17 year old’s learning the subjecct for their GCSE.
25 years in Corporate America taught me to let the experts in a speccialist subject deal with it
At no point in this clusterfuck does it seem that a professional has touched a keypad.
Did Saints even talk to their in house Legal Team let aone an expert when this broke?
Imho they vibed it - they hd the same reaction to it - lolz - as all our younger fans on Social Media - it was some form of joke.
That reaction does not move on that is just sour grapes written with Chat GPT or a similar cheap email typer.
I cannot believe Parsons signed off on that let alone Solak.
Amateur hour doesn’t come close.

FFS Saints bring in a professional in crisis managemnt and communications or simply SHUT UP and move on as we are trying to do

Embarrasing, and yes MoT - I wish we had found someone with an MBA to type something I can only guess an Intern is in the Office because everyone else is on holiday - but FFS they could have even found a vegan BMW driver with an MBA from this lot to write it

Common sense views. Boro and other haters will disagree but otherwise calm and considered

Absolutely. My one gripe now was perhaps how we handled it. Whilst there are significant restrictions on what can be said before or whilst the EFL investigation was on going, we should have been more contrite in all communications, and Dragan, should maybe have faced the flak earlier… but this was about as good a statement on the affaire as could have been made.

The rival fans will hate it because its logical and fair and makes them look like haters, ironically now wanting to bully the club… but fuck the stupid idiots. IMHO, the way Dragan spoke about a young man who has fucked up, is exactly how I felt, and it clear to me Tonda is probably hurting right now. We all want to be judged by the best we do, not our biggest errors of judgement
