:saints:šŸ•“ Saints' next manager

well pelligrinin it seems is off to russia so we are left wiht the underwhelming claude peul i will give him a chance but really is this 5year plan that bad no well known manager will take the job i guess we have to realise reed is running the show and have faith but it doesnt feel like hes manager that will make me renew again next year and travel to away games as much

keep the faith saints and lets hope we can get a new player or two underwhelmed but realistic and proud of my team and city

dunno man, there are plenty of well known managers who would prob take the job, like i.e. Tim Sherwood and i.e. Neil Warnock. In the present case, I’m prob better the Devil you don’t know.

Not sure he’s even worth that.

Hasn’t Pelligrini been offered stupid money by the Russian Football Federation though? That’s something that we can’t compete against!!

10 million euros per year.

I’m pretty sure the Pellegrini stuff comes from The Daily Mail article published today. Could be his agent hurrying us into making a desicion but I doubt his agent would have come to us in the first place if there wasn’t firm interest from Pellegrini.

We don’t know how the 5 year plan is being sold, so it feels premature to be suggesting that because the Daily Mail have said Russia want to pay Pellegrini Ā£10m a year that we need to stop going to away games next year. They’ve also been saying that Stoke are going to beat us to Redmond but that’s not been picked up by the #saintsfc feed on Twitter…

It’s better that our board are thorough and take their time on appointing someone after a rigourous search and interview process than just taking the first person that impresses them to keep fans happy. We’ll all still support Saints next year regardless of whose in the dugout, so let’s let them take their time and get the right man for the job in before jumping to conclusions.

Didn’t the Russian FA almost go bankrupt when they paid off Capellos contract? They were almost 30m in debt!!

Their current coach isn’t get paid a thing except for expenses, I would take this with a very large pinch of salt.

Is it a five year plan to recruit our next manager? i heard that the black box is currently processing all the information. I have advised them to switch it off, Leave it off for 2 mins and then switch back on

Not very scientific, but the owner of the bar / restaurant I am sitting in, in Lyon watching Norn Iron hanging on, was impressed that we approached Rudi Garcia but underwhelmed with Claude Puel. He knows a bit about ā€œthe Saintsā€ - his words, and Morgan.

It’s actually a ZX Spectrum 48k.

The reason we haven’t signed a new manager is because Ralph and Les have been playing Chuckie Egg, competing for its vast computing resources.

We’ll probably end up appointing someone like Fernando Santos when the Euro’s are over.

Or fray bentos

Ah that’s what they were talking about… I overheard Les asking to see Ralph’s floppy

They let you out of Saudi? Shit I was sure I’d blocked your exit visa.

Greetings from The Green Dragon in Bramshaw nice weather here everyone.

Oh & I laughed today. Our left field manager is Ryan Giggs. Must have been a SWF ITK’ericofarabia with that one. But tbh better than Genga
