đŸ‡·đŸ‡ș Russia

You’re right there, but I suspect not in the way you meant.

And still the UK drag their feet on sanctions and EU doesn’t close off Swift

Russian Parliament Duma has just passed the law further limiting the freedom of speech. It says that “those RU citizens who will call a military special operation on the territory of a foreign „state war”, may be deprived of liberty for up to 15 years.”
407 out of 450 MPs took part in the voting. And ALL of them voted for this new „law”
These are new drastic measures taken by Russian authorities against own citizens.

OK that was a post from March ‘17

Just to let Barry know that said Russian friend has asked us to sponsor him for UK citizenship, which we have done.

He and family have lived and worked in the UK for years and hate all that Putin stands for.

Judging by some comments on here we’re probably “traitors”

Can you show me where I’ve said anyone is a traitor? I asked Goatboy earlier and didn’t get a reply, you’re better than using a smear without proof

Huge emotion at Mrs P_F’s work today.
1 of the team quit.
To travel to Ukraine to fight.
Who does that? Who COULD do that?

Perhaps it is time to stop the repetition on this thread ans start to focus on the sheer horrors

One very brave person, that’s who.

Lol - you are picking and choosing about what you have said or strongly implied. It’s all laid out in this thread Barry.

I’ve avoided this thread (& site) for the last few days) because of your single minded incoherent ranting and raving against anyone and everyone.

There aren’t that many posters on this site and the entertainment value you bring isn’t a reason to stay, or is that your intention?

I’m not raving at anyone nor do I want to argue, this is something like everyone that means an awful lot (it scares me hugely to see history repeating itself), have a good evening, As a sidenote and a matter of small pride my wife’s company got 650 Ukrainians to Slovakia today.

So just stop, and refocus on the reality of now.

Casually reading through this thread and the old adage springs to mind:

Truth is the first casualty of war

There’s so much certainty and knowledge of what’s happening politically and on the ground on this thread that some posters must be close to central Government and have authority to share the truth.

Where’s the truth (forget whataboutery) :man_shrugging:t3:

I have an idea

This will be interesting to see if there is any grain of truth as it would say a lot, legacy and a lack of willingness to concede.

It would be good if it was true, but its the Daily Star.

The most compelling part of this argument is the weird long table behaviour and his apparent fear of COVID. I can believe that this could be indicative that he has a compromised immune system. The rest of that article is terrible though for one there’s hardly any pictures of him in it. Secondly if you put any of the pictures of him next to a picture of Boris Johnson’s sweaty fat Face and asked ten people to judge who they thought was ill, ten out of ten would go for Boris Johnson. There’s also a video on that page of Putin giving a speech where he quite clearly doesn’t appear to be in agonising bum pain.

It makes sense in many ways though, who’d have thought a man who wants to bring glory back to the Soviet Union/Russia by invading this neighbour in some bullshit excuse can’t catch a cold as he’ll die. Boris is a twat but again whataboutery.
