No they don’t, I am calling you out for excusing/supporting/diverting a tyrant exercising an imperialist and fascist act, I suppose you supported Mosley in the battle of Cable street as they were dissenters…

Ok, well for the record, you use the tactics of a totalitarian during debate.

You might want to get that looked as, as it clashes with your love of innocents wardrobe.

It’s not a combination to wear out in public.

Pap, I am not the one supporting and or sitting on the fence with Putin, that appeasement whether through agenda or ignorance helps Putin so vis-Ć -vis you support Putin.

I am all for opinion and a difference of but please provide something that Ukraine has done wrong?

Putin, the Kremlin and your good self are on the wrong side of history.

I’m not supporting Putin. I think the issue that you have is that you mistake ā€œnot frothing at the mouth like I have for six yearsā€ with ā€œsupport for Putinā€.

You mouth off lazy statements uttered since 1945 about someone being the new Hitler. You claim to be up on your history while simultaneously having a very selective and shallow headline understanding of things, drawing the parallels that suit your hysteria rather than the relevant ones.

This is just one of a number of subjects that in your mind, is one of absolutes, of monsters, of tyrants, of Hitlers. Any facts that contradict those views aren’t admitted.

As a consequence, it is impossible for you to discuss these issues with any sense of proportion or rationality.

You seek nuance when there isn’t any Pap, there isn’t a grey area on invasion and occupation.
Looking for that grey area now is support for Putin, condemn Putin and the invasion?

Yes I’ll condemn Putin for choosing to resolve things this way. He has broken international law.

But I’ll also condemn NATO for creating this situation over time with particular condemnation for the US policy, which involved creating colour revolutions on Putin’s doorstep.

Where you see Putin as the new Hitler, and probably see him sweepng across Europe afterward, I see a nation that has been encircled over decades, not just by NATO, but also the EU, and has finally pushed back after being repeatedly provoked and humiliated.

This is a ā€œstop fucking with us warā€. It’s not right, but it wouldn’t be happening without everything that came before it.

I don’t mind anyone sticking up for their own side as long as they’re honest about when it fucks up. For you, the West can do and has done no wrong in this matter. I strongly disagree with that.

If you want to call that support for Putin, be my guest, but expect to be treated about as seriously as you normally get taken.

I’m not sure who that guy is. I read somewhere that he is a Georgian rather than anything to do with Ukraine. Nonetheless the fact that the reporter glosses over his comments is certainly telling about media hypocrisy.

A backhanded apology with a but.

A nation encircled? Where? 14 nations border Russia Pap, if a nation wants to join an organisation its their decision.
That is all there is to it.![

Yes Russia, poor Russia is totally surrounded, I didn’t see you say the same about Ukraine a few weeks ago when 80% of their total border was surrounded.

I suggest they have the peace talks in Nuremburg, seems apt.

Putin is losing it, fuck me.

How can a madman lose it?

Diversion, lets stick to the point in hand shall we?
Nuclear arms now as he feels threatened after invading a sovereign nation.

Entirely relevant. You have repeatedly called Putin a madman. He has already lost it, surely?

See that’s the problem with trading on extremes. You’ve nowhere else to go to and your past comments render your current ones nonsensical.

He is madman and he has lost it, bringing out the nuclear threat.

Can’t imagine China will support this increase in threats.

Feels like he’s throwing his toys out of his pram cos it’s not going too well.

Unless they fancy having a go at Taiwan.

Dangerous shit, this toothless military policy. See the League of Nations.

I’m sure they do - it’s more the ā€œnuclearā€ rhetoric that they won’t enjoy.

China are compromised in this by them believing all borders are sacred, Russia has violated that so if they (China) invade Taiwan (they probably will) they’re open to hypocrisy.
But since when have autocratic totalitarian states ever bothered about that.

Not sure the EU EU announcement is wise either.
Just escalates
