Texas University removed 4 Confederate statues from their Austin campus overnight. The reason given was that the statues had become “symbols of modern white supremacy and Neo-Nazism.”

Where did I say that the bombing of Dresden was justified? I did say, if it helped bring the end of the war in Europe as the atomic bombs on Japan ended the war in the Pacific, was it a bad thing? How did you respond to that? As for being offended by a name which has been used to describe gay men (where is the proof that it is homophobic?) it took you a year to be offended let’s not pretend that is an issue.

Narrative? What narrative would that be? A castle is hardly the same as something that has been made and erected to give honour to someone who fought to keep slavery and oppress black people. Explain how things that are built as defensive structures are the same please?
