Cherts my tory salamander, you’re losing the plot, you are in danger of your patter of not only being unfunny but unstable.

I pity you Cherts, I pay for your lost tory soul, I pray one day you’ll be able to join the caring and tolerant side, until then we can only have faith.
Love
Barry xxxxxxx
Come on Bazza, even you can do better than using my insult as yours. At least you were original when you were calling people whoppers. It feels like your intolerant heart isn’t really in it anymore…

True, be awful to be lumped into your bucket. I apologise Barry.
Thats it son, thats the spirit, get out of my bucket and get your own, one with better banter too as yuors is gash. You’re an unfunnier version of Ian Hislop which takes some doing.
*sigh*
Lets get this back to religion…
Who on this forum prays and has demonstrable evidence of prayer working?

In other words, you’re admitting to bare-faced trolling.

Let him troll and acuse, he has form for it, I find it funny, but shall we get back tothe point MLG made?
Prayer I suppose could help in a carthatic/placebo type of way but to answer your point there is none at all, nothing to show prayer of any type in relief, desperation or ritual helps.
I pray every night that I will wake up in the morning. So far I have 100% proof that works for me.

Said very tongue in cheek, but to a certain degree yes.
I find it interesting to see how intolerant some people are of the way others want to live their life. It’s very sad that people are that opposed to something that genuinely helps another man.

Woah, you spend your whole time saying I’m not funny, yet in the next breath say you find it funny. Come on Bazza, which is it?
You aren’t being serious, but in case you are… what proof do you have the two are connected?
I just told you. I pray every night, and I wake up the next morning. It’s a positive correlation with 100% accuracy.
What proof do you have that they aren’t connected?
On what is your claim that it “genuinely helps another man” based?
A beleive in something that is demonstrably false isn’t a healthy place for your mind to be, especially if it impacts on your actions and the lives of others which it almost certainly would.

Why is it not healthy? What gives you the right to tell someone that them believing in something that gives them comfort isn’t healthy?
Do you know what’s not healthy? Being so close minded that you criticise people for them wanting to be comforted by the fact that they believe in a God, or a heaven, or that in the afterlife they will see their loved ones again. I’m genuinely shocked at how negative you see that, and it’s sad that you are like that.
I prayed earlier to catch a barbel on a river i have never seen one caught from. A few hours later i catch a 13lb barbel. Definitive proof there is a God.
P.S is your user name ironic?
And he supports the ‘Saints’…
Belieiving in things which are demonstrably false is not healthy. I don’t see why that is such a controversial statement. Thinking like yours is the root of a lot of the world’s problems.
Healthy = living in reality and a world of rational thought and following the evidence to the answer
Unhealthy = shoe-horning the evidence to fit your pre-concieved notion of the answer
I wholeheartedly disagree.
Living in the 21st century rational world of reality & evidence is healthier for the mind than a make believe world of dreams, wishful thinking & bronze age religious myths.
Hardly a difficult concept to grasp.
